Tax time is one of confusion, boredom, anger and even fear for many people. No one can really say they love tax. 

But Etax does. They reallllly love tax – well helping people do it that is.

Our brief was to communicate this love and the fact that even though their service is fast, easy and completely online, there is a human, certified accountant available to chat customers through the process and sign off on their return – so you never have to go it alone.

Going it alone and using MyTax can mean you miss out on the best possible refund or fall into the pitfall of claiming things you shouldn’t.

We honed in on the key insight that some things are just better with expert help – especially if that thing is doing something as important as your tax.

Making tax fun(ny)

Doing it better with Etax provided the perfect platform to springboard into a range of scenarios with a humorous hook, providing the perfect vehicle for the service’s USPs.

We took the ‘to expert or not to expert’ duality to all corners of digital from video through to statics – and even went viral with with .gifs!

Animations & Tiktoks

We also created a series of animated videos for etax, these added variety to the campaign, achieving more readability at a glance for decreasing attention spans.

Etax also wanted to target a more varied audience, so we created over 24 unique tiktok videos.
