Coming together
A collaboration between South East Queensland’s Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, Primary Health Networks, Hospital and Health Services, the Mater Hospital, and the Queensland Ambulance Service, FNHE aims to achieve health equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the South East Queensland region by 2031.
As part of our long term partnership with the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health, we created a modern, thoughtful and respectful design founded on original artwork, all supported by an efficient information architecture that organises a wide array of content in an intuitive, but logical way.
A place for collaboration
A collaboration between many community groups and organisations, SEQ FHNE is the bringing together of a range of varied styles and brands. Our first task was to create a grounding design language that balances visual styles and supports the collaboration as a whole, while avoiding a busy or overpowering palette.
From this framework we were able to explore a range of design elements to provide accent, interaction and interest throughout the journey of the site’s distinct sections and themes.
Resources at the heart
At the heart of the SEQ FHNE project is the development and sharing of a wide spectrum of resources to inform, educate, support and inspire. Naturally this section is the engine room of the site design, with an intuitive interface powered by a smart search and tagging system directing users to content in the most frictionless way.
Vastly different content types that need to exist side-by-side? No problem. We developed a visually efficient and appealing card system that displays key file information, synopsis and attribution details within a glance.
