Thinking superpowers in a box
Kitted is a versatile product that combines both physical and digital tools to transform mental models into an engaging, visual system. Through interactive cards, it offers practical resources like the SWOT Matrix, insights like the Pareto Principle, and critical thinking prompts such as the Sunk Cost Fallacy.
For our client, Two Thousand Five Hundred, we delivered an intuitive website alongside captivating videos and animations to help empower users with essential tools for sharper, more effective thinking.
Kitted with a modular system
The Kitted design system is built to be as modular as the mental model cards it supports, providing users with a flexible, visual framework to create and share Kits, Flows, Resources, and Articles. This structure encourages users to engage deeply with the platform’s resources, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge can be collectively developed and shared.
A central design challenge was accommodating user-generated content while ensuring a cohesive experience. The platform remains adaptive to each user’s needs while keeping the content uniform, visually appealing, and consistent with Kitted’s brand identity.
Empowering creation with intuition
To make sharing knowledge effortless, we developed a streamlined WYSIWYG editor complete with a fully customizable dashboard, allowing users to tailor their workspace to fit their needs. Inspired by tools known for their simplicity, the editor makes creating Kits, Flows, Resources, and Articles feel as intuitive as organising slides, making it easy for users of any skill level to jump in and start building.
The editor handles much of the design work, so users can focus on uploading their content, ensuring that each piece of user-generated content has both substance and style.
The universal element
The modular card system serves as the backbone of the digital tool, extending to all resources, including profile cards. We empower users to design their own bespoke cards while considering central design principles.
Each card maintains uniform dimensions, allowing text to automatically adjust and truncate as needed. Users can personalize their cards further by uploading their own images or choosing from a vast library of readily available visuals on the Kitted platform.
And then some
We also developed an extensive library of promotional animations designed to effectively market both the physical product and the website, capturing user interest and enhancing brand visibility. In addition, we crafted a collection of Figjam and Miro templates, which aim to make learning even more interactive and engaging.
These templates provide users with dynamic tools to explore concepts, fostering a vibrant community of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the Kitted platform. This comprehensive approach enhances the overall user experience and encourages active participation.
A cut above the rest
Despite being a new player and lacking the social proof they advise in their cards as a must for e-commerce products, Kitted have so far sold $330,000 worth of decks, and they’re only in their testing phase!
