Byron Bay Surf Festival is a celebration of surf culture, art, and community in one of Australia’s most iconic coastal towns.

For this year’s event, we worked with their existing brand assets to craft dynamic signage and vibrant designs for the festival, the events and its competitions. Our goal was to bring the spirit of the festival to life, using their visual identity to create a cohesive experience that resonated with surfers and festival-goers alike.

A SPLASH OF COLOUR

We collaborated with the Byron Bay Surf Festival team to bring their vision to life, focusing on key elements of the festival experience. By using their existing assets, we crafted designs that highlighted the festival’s strong ties to the surf community and the laid-back coastal culture of Byron.

The signage and designs flowed seamlessly with the event’s competitions, capturing the festival’s vibrant energy and reinforcing its role as a central hub for surfers, artists, and locals to come together and celebrate their shared passion for the ocean.

A DYNAMIC VISUAL CAMPAIGN

We crafted a vibrant visual campaign that captured the festival’s essence and energy. Using the festival’s established assets, we designed adaptable signage and competition visuals that translated seamlessly across a variety of platforms—both on-site and digital.

Our designs balanced the festival’s bold, beach-inspired aesthetic with clean, impactful typography, creating a cohesive look that resonated with the surf community. The result was a campaign that stood out while staying true to Byron’s iconic surf culture.
