IUIH
REALISING A VISION
We always relish the opportunity to work alongside organisations who are committed to improving lives and advocating for vulnerable communities.
So, when our long term partners at the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) approached us with an ambitious digital project in mind, we were eager to help bring their vision to life.

A PIVOTAL SERVICE PROVIDER
Based in South-East Queensland, IUIH is a regional Community Controlled Health Service (CCHS) that leads integrated service planning, clinical innovation, and the scaling of healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
Since 2009, they have overseen unprecedented growth of 5 clinics to 17, client numbers of 8,000 to 41,000, and annual comprehensive Health Checks grown from 550 to 20,000.
Clearly, it’s not hyperbole to say that IUIH is the backbone of Indigenous Health in the state.

UNIFYING A DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM
With such a broad scope of influence, it was essential that the organisation maintained a consistent standard across all its agencies and sub-brands.
The challenge of producing seven separate online presences within the IUIH health ecosystem wasn’t lost on us, so leveraging our history with the IUIH team, we set out to build a scalable, high-performing web architecture that could handle the complexity of a regional health network.

IUIH
The central information hub.

Deadly Choices
A high-traffic, community-facing lifestyle platform.

Deadly Kindies
An engaging resource for early childhood health and education.

EMPOWA Training
A professional portal for health workforce development.

Pamela Mam Health Centre
Culturally respectful healthcare.

Moreton ATSICHS
An integrated wellbeing hub.

SEQ FNHE
A regional healthcare alliance.
AN IMPACTFUL OUTCOME
The result is a streamlined digital infrastructure that matches the physical scale of IUIH’s impact. By consolidating the branding and performance of these seven sites, we’ve provided IUIH with a platform that is faster, more functional, and easier for community members to navigate.
The new ecosystem doesn’t just look better; it performs better too by reducing friction for families seeking care and providing IUIH with the tools to manage their massive growth effectively.
We are incredibly proud to have played a part in such a meaningful project. A massive thanks to the IUIH team and all the associated agencies for trusting us to deliver their new digital experiences.
FROM THE CLIENT
“Working with Flip on our multi-website project has been an incredibly positive experience. Their team approached our organisation’s new branding with genuine respect, understanding, and creativity. The result is a modern, visually engaging, and high-performing suite of websites that truly reflect who we are. The new sites are not only faster and more functional, but also provide us with enhanced tools to connect with our community and create more meaningful engagement opportunities. Thanks to Flip’s expertise and collaborative spirit, we now have a digital platform that will help us deliver on our vision—healthy and strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities.”
